Some sundal recipes like chana dal, moong dal, peanuts required no overnight soaking. Even green mung needs just 3 hrs minimum soaking time. All other sundals need overnight soaking.

Make sure to shop for all the ingredients, as per the recipes you have planned to prepare during Navratri. Like enough legumes and dals for sundal, Jaggery, sugar, butter or ghee, dry fruits, nuts, tetra pack UHT milk, condensed milk, rice flour, besan, wheat flour, fruits, coconut, flattened rice, instant sevai, oils.
